Dr. Robert Major, M.D.
Dr. Robert Major M.D. was one of the founding physicians of West Grand Medical Associates (WGMA). He graduated from Iowa State in 1972 and the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1976. He did his Family Practice training in the United States Air Force and subsequently spent several years being a Family Practitioner with them. He returned to Iowa in 1986 and after two years practicing on the South side of Des Moines, helped start WGMA in April 1988. He has been continuous certified and recertified by the American Board of Family Medicine since 1979. He has an interest in Holistic Medicine and has been certified by the American Board of Holistic Medicine since 2003.
Dr. Major is married and has two daughters. His interests include organic gardening and woodworking, and especially most recently, visiting and enjoying his two granddaughters.
Dr. Prachi Singh, M.D.
Dr. Prachi Singh M.D. has been with West Grand Medical Associates since August 2008. She graduated from Lady Hardinge medical school in New Delhi, India. She recently completed her Family Practice training in June 2008 at the Family Practice Residency Program at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She has been certified by the American Board of Family Medicine since 2008.
Dr. Singh is married and has a daughter. Her interests are cooking and spending time with her family.
